The report’s sources were not named, and Apple refused to comment on the rumor. Games could sell for around $20 in the premium app store, according to the report. As it stands now, the most expensive games on the App Store typically go for about $10, and many more cost less.
Despite a stellar holiday season and the sale of its 10 millionth Wii video game console, Nintendo has taken a bearish view on the future as the global economic crisis continues to deepen.
